Elements Music Camp

The Elements Music Camp is one of Rain's most visually stunning works. The site had to reflect the exuberance and excitement of the music camp. Part of the client's requirements was to be able to present multiple layers of content without sacrificing design. The site is broken-down into bite-sized segments that feature news, applications, profiles, and multiple social media channels.

Shane Mosley:
Ang Sugar na May Asim Pa!

This minisite was constructed to promote the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley fight held on May 2011. Instead of promoting Pacquiao directly, Solar Entertainment and Rain decided to take the ironic route.

The project was a tongue-in-cheek dig at the fact that Mosley was starting to show his age. Exaggerated Mosley ÒfactsÓ were posted, and prompted Pacquiao fans to send in their own rebutals. The minisite was a rousing success, and attracted attention from sports fans and fellow web designers alike.

Tao Community

Tao Community is committed to weaving communities together. Its deep roster of companies and affiliates all share the same commitment of their mother company. The website had to feature all these, while maintaining the cohesive branding of Tao.

Rain faced a clear challenge: How do you help visitors (and potential business partners) navigate Tao Community's web of partners and affiliates. To do this, Rain crafted a literal community online that gave the visitor a bird's eye view of the Tao Community.

The best part? The individual elements in the interactive map were initially crafted by hand.

Appetite

A website is only as good as the content it contains. Appetite brings with it a wealth of articles and information from its print counterpart. Rain concocted a website that allowed gourmands to easily sift through Appetite's online library of articles.

While most of Rain's websites are visually intense by design, Appetite's look pulls back a bit and puts the food in the spotlight. Rain's trademark handcrafted design elements are still used, though. The Appetite website is a perfect marriage between content and design.

My Periwinkle

For Periwinkle clothing, Rain designed a website that merged the innocence of childhood with the style and uniqueness of the label's products. Intricate details were woven into the site's sophisticated menus functions. Overall, Rain's hand-drawn elements gave just the right amount of whimsy to the Periwinkle site.

The design took its own path when their existing store was transformed the way the website was designed.
